Use proclubs-sdk on the Node.js side of your Discord bot to prepare a public club summary. Your existing Discord library handles commands and replies; the SDK reads data from EA.

Prepare the command response

Install proclubs-sdk, then save this as club-summary.mjs:
In your command handler, acknowledge the interaction before waiting for EA, call clubSummary, then send the text. Follow your Discord library’s current interaction API.
EA fields are untrusted display text. Escape Discord formatting where needed and disable allowed mentions so a club name cannot ping users or roles.

Handle failures

Show the player a short failure message instead of raw response bodies. The SDK caps retries and respects Retry-After. Add a command cooldown if several users can request the same club.

Platform and cache choices

  • Use common-gen5 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
  • Use nx for the Nintendo pool.
  • Keep one SDK instance so commands share the 60-second memory cache.
  • Avoid background polling of many clubs. This SDK is for modest public requests, not club enumeration or a historical data warehouse.

Choose a supported runtime

The default transport requires Node.js and a native binary. Check the support contract before choosing bot hosting.
