Every SDK method accepts { signal?: AbortSignal } as its second argument.

Cancel after a deadline

Node.js 22 supports AbortSignal.timeout().
A caller abort becomes ProClubsAbortError with code ABORTED. It is never retried. The same signal also interrupts an exponential backoff or Retry-After delay between attempts.
timeoutMs and an external AbortSignal solve different problems:
  • timeoutMs configures the built-in transport’s request timeout;
  • AbortSignal lets the caller cancel the complete SDK operation, including retry delays.
